Terra Solus is my debut studio album — a culmination of a year-long journey through sound, reflection, and collaboration. The seed for the project was planted in early 2024, and over the course of that year, the music evolved as the band and I workshopped it across stages in Cape Town. Every live performance helped shape the final sound, until we brought it all together in the studio in October.
After months of sculpting, mixing, and refining, the first single, “The Wanderer,” was released on January 10th, 2025, followed by the full album drop on January 31st.
Terra Solus features bold, modern South African jazz played by a dynamic sextet. It's introspective, yet expansive—tying together themes of time, solitude, and continuity in a musical language that’s both personal and rooted in collective experience.
